Glowing Face
We all love to have a glowing face. Fruits are the gift of god to keep us healthy and beautiful. Fruits and water will keep the skin fresh and healthy. So eat lots of fruits and drink lots of water. Water will hydrate the skin. Drink atleast 6 to 8 cups of water. Moisture is important for healthy skin.
General Face care Tips
Give a gentle massage to the face for five minutes daily. This will help to remove the dead cells and initiate the growth of new cells. Massage can be done using facemasks. See Facemask for details.
Face Cleanser
Milk is a good skin cleanser. Take some milk and wipe it all over the face. Let it dry for 10 minutes. Then wash your face. This will remove all the dirt over the skin.
Facemasks differ according to the types of skin. While applying face masks apply to face and neck.
There are three types of skin.
- Dry Skin
- Normal Skin
- Oily Skin

Dry Skin
This type of skin does not develop acnes, but this is so sensitive. It may develop cracks if exposed to too much heat or too much cold. This type of skin requires some moisturizers and needs lots of water.
Facemask for Dry Skin
- Apply butter or cheese to the face overnight and wash it in the morning.
- You can also apply olive oil or almond oil and have a gentle massage. Wash with cold water.
- Cucumber and Apples are good for dry skin. Grind some cucumber, yogurt and turmeric, apply it as a facemask and then wash it away.
- Grind some apple with milk and apply the paste on the face. Then wash after 15 minutes.
- Soak some barley for 15 minutes and then grind it into paste. Apply it on face for 15 minutes and then wash the face. Barley will help to retain the moisture in the skin.
For dry skin always use cold water for washing.
Normal Skin
People having normal skin are the gifted ones. Skin problem will be too less for them.
Take some milk and wipe your face using a little cotton roll. This will remove all the dirt in the skin. Wash your face.
You can use any fruit mask just by grinding fruits such as banana, papaya, cucumber, and apple. Use either one of the fruit. Wash it after half an hour. You can use either cold water or lukewarm water.
Oily Skin
To find out oily skin, wash your face and then after 10 minutes if you wipe your face with a cotton roll or napkin you can see oil on the tips of the nose, forehead and jaws.
Oily skin develops acne. But they are also gifted because they wont’ look aged and wrinkles will develop rarely in this type of skin. To maintain this type of skin;
Wash your face two or three times a day with herbal powder or good soap. If you want to control acne better use herbal powder or gram flour(Besan flour), Masoor Dhal Powder. Herbal powder for acne and gram flour should be available in the local Indian Stores.
Always wipe off your face with milk using a cotton roll. Then wash your face. You can better use lukewarm water for washing as it controls oilness and acne.
Mix lemon, honey and milk and apply it on face like massaging. This will help to remove the dead cells and develop new cells on face so that face looks young and smooth. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash it in warm water. This will also remove black spots and acne scars on face and neck.
To control oily skin take steam bath for face daily. This will help to remove the inner dirt and controls acne.
Mix some rice flour with milk and apply it on the face. Let it dry and then wash your face. This will make your face look fresh and beautiful as it removes dirt from the skin.
Oily skin can be controlled by applying grape juice on face. Squeeze some black grape juice, apply it on face leave it for 15 minutes and then wash your face with lukewarm water.
