Mineral make-up is much less translucent than loose powder and is meant to be worn as foundation, so you need to apply it sparingly and build it in stages to achieve the ideal look. Eyeliners and Eye shadows Though eye shadow applications may change with the seasons and the current fashions, the best way to accentuate you eyes is to use 3 different colors applied to your lid. What we suggest is to use 3 complimentary eye shadow colors of the same basic color. Softly brush the lightest color over your entire lid from your lashes up until you reach the brow bone. Then take the darker color and line your eyes using a wet brush. You can take a soft dry eye shadow brush and create a sideways “V” by gently brushing along the eyeliner from the inner part of your eye to the outer, and turning and going back towards the inner part of your eye except you follow the crease of your eye instead. This not only smudges the harsh line of the eyeliner but also gives your eye some depth. Then pick up your middle color and gently brush that over the lower lid of your eye.
